SIGNIFICANCE OF KINETICS QUARTZ TUBE HEATERS
As compared to the conventional panel heaters,a tube heater is much better and more efficient in performance. The panel heaters are not very preferred because they carry a lot of mass and take ample of time to achieve an operating temperature. However,a quartz tube heater has virtually no mass and tends to shoot up to a high temperature in a short order. The overall heating element design is quite exquisite and dictates the actual time to attain a particular temperature.
We offer these devices in several different end terminations in order to meet the basic requirements of all equipment manufacturers. Besides,we also design custom end terminations that suit every equipment requirements of any industrial quartz infrared heater. Kinetics’ heater products can be easily configured to meet all commercially available voltages. Typically the tube watt densities can be designed up to 50 watts/lineal inch (wli) for specific industrial applications.
APPLICATIONS
Depending on the type of tubing either satin or clear, the tubes are employed in specific industrial applications. The clear tubes are mainly preferred for higher watt density applications as they have a much higher transmittance of infrared energy as compared to the satin tubes. Nonetheless, the primary use of satin tubes is for lower watt density applications that have a heating element for aesthetic reasons.
